I Can't Believe It's Over?
It feels like yesterday I was picking up Lucy in carpool line on the last day of 3rd grade.  I can't believe summer 2010 has now come and gone for good.  We have had a great time, filled with lots of fun, lots of work and progress on so many exciting projects.
I can't wait to bring you updates on the Rosemary Beach house, a fabulous restaurant project and many, many wonderful projects at Gwen Driscoll Designs.  For now, take a look at our summer fun.We enjoyed a great family weekend in Vicksburg, MS honoring my Dad who is finishing up his long career with the Army Reserves.  He has dedicated his life to our country, starting with his time at Westpoint and enjoying an illustrious career with a two-star General position as his last post.  We've watched him travel all over the world to serve and are very proud of his accomplishments.Celebrate!Celebrate!Celebrate! Then, it was on to Linnville, North Carolina for a quick family vacation.  Oh, the weather!  It was fabulous to escape the Memphis heat. This was one of our favorite spots, Eseeola Lodge.  I got great inspiration for the restaurant project, ACRE, I'm working on that will open in early 2011.  Look for more on that project very soon. The 4th of July was full of family fun:baking cakes, enjoying our flags, playing with our precious pups!Swim teamand more swim team.Dogs were chillin' most every day:  way to hot to go outdoors. We had flower arranging lessons, summer camp fun, tubing, laughing, and good old-fashioned swimming in the lake!Michael and I had a great end of summer get-a-way at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs.      If you haven't been you must make it happen.I loved every minute of it.Just wonderful.Michael and Lucy brought these beautiful flowers home last week to celebrate our anniversary.  Aren't they beautiful?  Thank you to Joseph at the Garden District for whipping something up.We are working to finish up the Rosemary Beach project, so close.  Can't wait to bring you beautiful images. And this is ACRE, a new restaurant opening in Memphis very soon.  Look for more on this project in very short order.Remember this beautiful project?  We are putting the finishing touches on it as we speak.  More to come! And a sneak peak at a project that has been in the works for months.  It's going to be "die for fabulous" so stay tuned!
Thank you so much for all your e-mails, comments and begging for more Ragland Hill Social.  I so appreciate all of your support and so glad you've missed it!  I wondered if anybody would!
